Business Funding Program: Strengthening Youth Entrepreneurship

Description: Establishment of new businesses from new age entrepreneurs (Youth Entrepreneurship) in almost all economic sectors

Aims at: Newly created firms (from 4.3.2009 onwards) , individuals

Purpose: To enhance the creation of new firms

Beneficiaries: Young people born from 1970 to 1991, who had not been business owners (except sole traders) from 1/1/08 to 4/3/09 and have little involvement in the operation of 75%.

Investment Budget: 30,000€ to 200,000€ in manufacturing, 30,000€ to 80,000€ in trade and 30,000€ to 100,000€ in tourism and services.

Rate of funding: 50% - 60% (depends on the area of investment)

Expenditure eligibility date: from 4/3/2009

Opening - Closing Dates: 15/6/2009-15/10/2009

Geographical Region: All regions

Budget: 24.000.000 €
